Lisa grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. She married her college sweetheart, Craig, and has called Murfreesboro, Tennessee her home for the last 28 years. She has two adult children. Her son Reed and his wife Whitney live in Starkville, Mississippi. Her daughter, Mary Huntley lives in Jackson, Mississippi.
In 2009, Lisa opened Faithful Strokes Art Studio and was blessed to teach adults and children art for 7 years prior to selling her business in 2016. Lisa will be using her passion for art and her background in art education as a tool to facilitate healing art practices in conjunction with counseling techniques.
Lisa attends World Outreach Church (WOC). She has served as a leader for step studies and open share groups in Celebrate Recovery at WOC since 2015. After struggling with an eating disorder since her teens, and almost walking out of her 22-year marriage, Lisa understands first-hand how holding onto pain from unresolved trauma can cause issues in every area of a person’s life.

LISA SAYS...
" Christian Counseling and my work in Celebrate Recovery have been integral parts of working to heal trauma and pain from my past. I have learned some successful tools allowing me to walk in the freedom that comes only through Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross. I am passionate about helping others walk through their journey of healing."
